#7 seed Boston and #3 seed Paris met the previous day for the bracket Championship, resulting in a 198-115 win for Boston. The first half of this game resembled the last game with quick points and a close score. Boston really started to pull away in the second half last time, so Paris was clearly determined to keep that from happening again.

The crowd was clearly pro-underdog and so every time Paris earned lead status, the fans went wild. However, it was Boston who earned those lead statuses more often, helping them control the game with dominating defense and fewer penalties. Paris made them fight until the very end, but Boston took another win against them, 166-150.

Battling for third place overall, #12 Naptown took on #16 Dublin. These teams faced each other only the day before with a very different overall outcome, with Dublin taking the win 161-158 after a surge late in the game. In this match, however, Naptown dominated Dublin in this game, taking a swift victory of 215-144.

The day of 2017 re-matches continued with two powerhouse teams, #42-ranked Tucson Saddletramps and #44 Jet City Bombers, facing off at 4pm EDT on Sunday to take home the 5th place spot. At Besterns in June, Tucson found themselves defeated by Jet City 209-119. With both teams having agile jammers and strong shapes of defense, predictions for this game were all over.

7th Place: #5 Oklahoma repeats Victory over #15 E-Ville, 295-238

The day of rematches started with the  #45 Oklahoma Victory Dolls and #57 E-Ville Roller Derby, reliving not a game from this tournament, but their Championship matchup from Loveland, Colorado’s Mayday Mayhem Tournament in June. In that matchup, OKVD came out 45 points on top of E-Ville despite E-Ville’s impressive run of wins that weekend.
